Dr. Anna C. Davis, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and trauma specialist with more than a decade of experience delivering and leading evidence-based trauma treatment within complex healthcare systems. She is the co-founder of Optimal Response Consulting, alongside Dr. Kristina Seymour, where they partner with organizations to strengthen trauma treatment, clinician training, and system-level responses to stress and adversity.
Dr. Davis is nationally trained and holds full provider status in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). Her clinical and consultation work is grounded in gold-standard trauma assessment and treatment, including extensive use of the CAPS-5, and a strong focus on outcomes, sustainability, and clinician confidence .
In addition to clinical expertise, Dr. Davis brings deep experience in training, supervision, and program development. She has served in multiple leadership roles within APA-accredited psychology training programs and has helped design and implement intensive and massed trauma treatment models, integrating evidence-based therapies with skills-based and supportive programming that addresses the whole person.
Beyond her consulting work, Dr. Davis is the Executive Director and Founder of Heroes for Hallie Grace, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by rare disease and advancing compassionate, community-centered care. Her nonprofit leadership reflects her belief that healing happens not only in treatment rooms, but through connection, advocacy, and meaningful systems of support.
Dr. Davis resides in Savannah, Georgia, where she is a wife of eight years, a mom to three children, and a proud caretaker of several beloved fur babies. Her professional work is deeply informed by her personal life—balancing leadership, service, family, and community with intention and heart.

Dr. Kristina Seymour, Psy.D., is a United States Air Force veteran and licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to trauma recovery and resilience-building. She brings deep clinical expertise to her work with veterans, service members, and their families. Dr. Seymour served alongside Dr. Davis, for over a decade in the VA Healthcare system; she is the co-founder of Optimal Response Consulting.
Having survived a severe brain injury that resulted in a coma—with physicians not expecting survival or meaningful recovery—along with personal challenges from catastrophic injuries, prolonged rehabilitation, and rare genetic disorders, Dr. Seymour embodies the transformation she teaches. Her lived experience fuels her motto: "Stay Alert, Stay Alive, AND THRIVE." Dr. Seymour is trained in several evidensed-based treatments for PTS and Substance Recovery. She also created the Adult Resiliency Measure (ARM) measuring variabes of resilience that infuence health and quality of life.
Dr. Seymour has developed innovative, evidence-based workbooks and programs (military and civilian versions) that integrate neuroscience, neuroplasticity principles, and practical tools to help individuals shift from mere survival to optimal thriving. Grounded in her military background and years of clinical practice, ORI empowers participants to respond adaptively to life's challenges, fostering resilience across physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, creative, and social domains. Dr. Seymour developed the intensive and massed treatment for ORI, resulting in clincially signifanct decreases in smptoms and equally improved levels of resilience and quality of life.
Beyond her consulting work, Dr. Seymour serves on the board of Operation Song, a non-profit dedicated to “brining them back one song at a time.” Based out of Nashville, TN, Operation Song is committed to empowering service members, veterans, and their families to share their story and preserve their legacy through songwriting.
Married for over 33 years to a U.S. Army Ranger, Dr. Seymour is a devoted mother of two grown children, mother-in-law, and grandmother of two. She lives in South Carolina with her husband and their Belgian Malinois. Her unique blend of professional rigor, personal adversity, and heartfelt military insight makes her a trusted guide in helping patients, clients, their families, and providers—along with their organizations— experience balanced, purposeful lives.
